COAGRISÁN continues to reap awards.

THE AWARD RECOGNIZES THE COMMITMENT AND EFFORT TO MEET QUALITY STANDARDS.

Within the framework of the Fruit Attraction Fair 2010 held in Madrid, the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification, AENOR, awarded and recognized the COAGRISÁN cooperative for the implementation of quality standards under the GlobalGAP protocol, an increasingly demanded requirement in national and international markets.

The GlobalGAP standard aims to provide consumer confidence about the way agricultural production is carried out., i.e., minimizing the impact of exploitation on the environment, reducing the use of chemical inputs and ensuring responsible procedures for the health of workers.

The event took place within the second edition of the Fruit Attraction Fair and was organized by AENOR and the Spanish Federation of Associations of Fruit Exporters and Producers, Vegetables, Live Flowers and Plants, FEPEX.

The President of COAGRISAN, Juan José de el Pino, received the prize - consisting of a bronze statuette- from the hands of the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Alfredo Bonet, and the president of FEPEX, Jorge Brotons.

Del Pino told Agroaldea that this recognition is a merit of all those who form the cooperative that, day after day they make a considerable effort to achieve greater levels of professionalism and “It seems that we are getting it. Distinctions like these support it”, declared the president.

AENOR delivered a bronze reproduction of the N Mark for Fruits and Vegetables and Biological Pest Control. The N Mark certificate is a quality mark that favors the production of fruits and vegetables, meeting the demanding requirements of the markets..

Since last week COAGRISÁN has been wearing “bronze aenor”, symbol of the certification of this prestigious and innovative company that has been distinguished by a clear commitment to quality and internal and generic processes.
