Wednesday day 8 April, the inauguration of the Livestock Technical Conference will take place, by the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Council of Fuerteventura, Dña. Rita Diaz Hernandez, to the 19:30 hours.
Then, the Veterinarian of the Technical Service of Livestock and Fisheries of the Cabildo de Tenerife, Diana Teresa Benito Sánchez will speak on "The cheese sector on the island of Tenerife, experience in the implementation of guidelines for correct hygiene practices in artisan cheese”, and will present the guide to correct hygiene practices for artisanal cheese factories in the Canary Islands
It will be followed by the presentation "Elaboration of artisan cheeses", given by Vicente Isidoro Jiménez Pérez, Technician in Dairy Industries.
Wednesday's day will conclude with a talk on the "Marketing of cheeses. An associative experience”, by Tito González Medina, President of AQUAL, Association of Artisan Cheese Makers of Lanzarote.
