FARMERS IN THE MUNICIPALITY MAY ACQUIRE SHARES FOR A PRICE OF 250 EUR.

The Minister of agriculture and livestock of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, Demetrio Suarez, presented to the farmers in the village, former directors of Coaldea and managers of cooperatives agricultural, a proposal in order to revive the cheese industry of the municipality.

The Minister was accompanied by the Mayor, Tomás Pérez, Councillor for agriculture and livestock, Rosa Godoy and the current President of Coaldea, Sergio Medina.

MeetingDemetrio Suárez exposed as proposed the creation of a company that acquires the Heritage Society of Coaldea and subrogated debt of the same. This new company would count with the participation of farmers in the municipality through a package of shares at the price of 250 euro each.
