THE AMOUNT TO UPGRADE 894.370 EUROS AND FUNDS COME FROM THE FEAGA.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Canary Islands Government has published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, Resolution by which the aid is granted for the marketing of tomatoes outside the archipelago Community Support Program Agricultural production in the Canary Islands, POSEI.

The amount amounting to 894.370 EUR, They have benefited a total of 19 operators 24 applicants, for productions traded between 1 July and 31 December of 2012.

To this amount the sum the 2.530.135,82 euros and were paid in the first half of the year, so that this subsector has received this year, under this line a total of 3,42 million euros for the campaign 2012.

In addition, regional counseling published last April the convening of this aid program for the external marketing of fruit, vegetables, ornamentals, flowers and you cuttings for the campaign 2013; endowed with loans worth 7,2 million euros. Of this amount, 3,9 million euros is earmarked for tomato and 3,3 million target other vegetables, fruits, medicinal plants, flowers and live plants.
