The MAGRAMA drives a campaign to publicize the Law on the food chain.

The objective is to make the new Law known among chain operators and inform about the operation and powers of the Food Information and Control Agency. (AICA).

The Council of Ministers has taken note of the authorization, by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and environment, MAGRAMA, to carry out an information campaign on the Law on measures to improve the functioning of the food chain.

Its objective is to make the new standard known among food chain operators., whose development regulations will be published during the second half of this year.

It is also intended to inform about the creation of the Food Information and Control Agency (AICA), about their functions and procedures to promote an improvement in the functioning and structuring of the chain, in order to increase the effectiveness and competitiveness of the Spanish agri-food sector.
