EAGF 2015Twelve cheese factories won awards in the cured modalities, semi-cured and tender.

The XXIX edition of the Agriculture Fair, Livestock and Fisheries of Fuerteventura, EAGF 2015, was successfully closed with visitors, magnificent quality of cattle on show, record of exhibitors and points of sale, after four days of intense activity that passed without any notable incidents.

The semi-cured cheese made with raw milk from the 'Los Ajaches' cheese factory’ Yaiza (Lanzarote), was chosen as the 'Best Cheese of the Canary Islands 2015’ during the contest, which during these days has been developing within the Feaga program 2015.

The title of 'Best Cheese’ It is awarded to the one who received the highest score in the different tastings., from among all those submitted to the competition in the different categories.

This edition of the Tabefe Awards featured, At last, with the participation of 105 cheeses made exclusively from goat's milk, from cheese factories of: Canary Islands, Cantabria, La Rioja, Andalusia and Castilla La Mancha.

The jury was made up of a dozen tasters from different Denominations of Origin of Cheese from all over Spain., as well as research centers on dairy products. The final results table was as follows:
