'Agroactiva' shape 31 Northern youth in agriculture.

The "Agroactiva" project, the first project of the Commonwealth of Northern municipalities aimed at promoting agriculture among youth, It has sought to promote and stimulate economic activity in the agricultural sector of northern Gran Canaria.

Students have received for seven months professional qualifications in occupations related to agriculture, particularly in occupations such as: farmworker, pesticide applicator, horticultor, worker orchards, nursery worker and laborer farms, among others.

The project beneficiaries have been under 30 years, with the minimum of ESO or similarly qualified and resident in one of the ten municipalities of the Commonwealth.

The project included hiring a team of teachers 2 Agricultural foremen, an Agricultural Engineer and Employment Tracker Agent during the 7 months of the project.

Once the training program completed project students have at their disposal the network of Employment Agencies and Local Development of the ten municipalities of the Commonwealth that will help and advise on business projects they wish to undertake.

The NOE project (New Employment Opportunities) He was born as a joint project of the Commonwealths of Medianías, Southeast and North Gran Canaria, by the Commonwealth of the Northeast of Tenerife in the year 2010, and it was funded by the Canary Islands Employment Service.
