The Governing Board of the Insular Council of Aguas del Cabildo de Gran Canaria has approved the creation of three communities of irrigators will benefit their 40 farmers, they can connect to the network insular waters to irrigate their crops and get administrative protection, the Minister of Primary Industry reported, Miguel Hidalgo.

These three first communities of irrigators created this year will add another four, whose cases are under consideration and likely will be approved during this quarter.
On the other hand, the Governing Board of the Insular Council of Aguas de Gran Canaria, chaired by Antonio Morales, It approved the modification of the statutes of the inheritances water Fuente Morales, Bucio, Vegueta, Triana, The Dragonal and Briviesca, and the adaptation of the statutes of the communities of irrigators community of Aguas San Jose and Pozo de la Asomadilla.
