Koppert Machines launches a machine developed especially to disinfect the soil.

The company Koppert Machines has been characterized in recent years by its wide range of machines for agricultural and horticultural products. A few weeks ago the company presented combine harvesters and washing machines for radishes.

Another of its star products is the machine developed to harvest, gather, Make Onions Wash and Peel. The onion harvesting machine has an approximate capacity of three hundred thousand per hour.

According to its director, Arie Koppert, “all machines come from the manufacture of our own production, because we make a product that will try to obtain a patent. Not only sell machines, but also know-how ”

The Agriton

The latest ingenuity of the Koppert Machines factory is the "Agriton". It is a machine that is specially designed to disinfect the soil. The Agriton consists of an open container in which a microwave tube is inserted.

It moves over the land, in order to be as close as possible to it, using the transmission system known as "caterpillar". Operation is simple: the electromagnetic waves emitted from the tube "wake up" the soil molecules.

This process will generate movement and cause the heat that is given off to be released. Like this, pests, viruses and fungi die and the soil is disinfected. The average speed of the Agriton is one meter per minute, depending on the depth of the soil to be disinfected.
