THE AWARD HIGHLIGHTS THE EFFORTS MADE IN EXCELLENCE AND QUALITY.

The COAGRISÁN Agricultural Cooperative is once again in luck. another award, in this case to Business Excellence in publishing 2012, It joins the long list of recognitions that it has been receiving in recent decades.. This distinction confirms what is already the brand of the house: quality and excellence.

 

Two concepts that by themselves are difficult to sustain., but in the hands of the family that makes up COAGRISÁN has known how to manage and adapt them so that customers, providers, producers and cooperators have made them their own. The result is the reference and the vanguard in the export tomato sector in which even at the national level, mark the distances.

The awards ceremony for the Third Edition of the Canary Islands Award for Business Excellence was held at the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and was chaired by the Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Government of the Canary Islands, Margarita Ramos and the general director of the Spanish Association for Standardization and Certification, AENOR, Avelino Brito.

Of the twenty-six companies from all over the Canary Islands presented to this edition, the jury, after a rigorous technical evaluation based on audits carried out on site’ by AENOR staff, has failed in COAGRISÁN the highest recognition in the 'Medium and Large Company' category.

And the work of adaptation and continuous improvement that the COAGRISÁN Cooperative has been carrying out is what has allowed it, in addition to achieving success, maintain the activity with guarantees and seriousness, which many of its close competitors are far from.

Both the President of the Cooperative, Juan José de el Pino, as the CEO, Jacinto Godoy, thanked them for the award, highlighting the importance of consolidating the great family that is COAGRISÁN and the commitment of “all at once” in this business project.

The constancy, the quality, Rigor and seriousness have been key pieces not only to position and highlight the Cooperative in its sector but to build the bridge that enables us to achieve excellence.. This award confirms that we are on the right track and, even more, motivates us to continue improving every day, because of wanting to be, we want to be the best, Godoy said.

Del Pino pointed out that among the factors highlighted by the awards jury are the research and development systems implemented by the Cooperative itself in its facilities., whose results revert throughout the Cooperative chain.

With this award, the COAGRISÁN Agricultural Cooperative becomes a reference and example of know-how for the business sector and entrepreneurship in the Canary Islands., according to the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Margaret Ramos.
