They COAGRISAN and 'la Caixa' extend the scholarship application deadline.

The scholarships are aimed at those who study Agrarian and Economics studies., Business Administration and Management.

The COAGRISAN Agricultural Cooperative and the “LA CAIXA” Social Project have agreed extend the application period for two scholarships intended, on the one hand, to students pursuing a Degree in Agricultural and Rural Engineering and/or a Degree in Agri-Food and Rural Engineering and, for another, for the Degree in Business Administration and Management and/or Degree in Economics.

The scholarships, in addition to cover tuition fees, accommodation and travel generated during the academic year, include an internship contract for one year at the COAGRISAN Cooperative once obtained the Degree.

President of COAGRISAN, Juan José del Pino, recalled that this initiative pursues facilitate access to university studies, to those who have more difficulties due to current circumstances.

Del Pino pointed out that this is not the first time that COAGRISAN calls for study scholarships. Years back, young people from this municipality studied Agricultural Engineering with similar scholarships and today they work in the Cooperative or in companies related to the sector.

Those interested in applying for these scholarships must submit documentation at the headquarters of the COAGRISAN Cooperative or at the headquarters of the CaixaBank office in La Aldea, before the next day 16 November of 2015.
