Gastronomy of LanzaroteLanzarote will be this Thursday, 8 October, with a tourism proposal in which the cuisine occupies a fundamental role.

Like this, that day, Lanzarote Day, there will be three presentations of destiny in the Spanish Pavilion, to the 12.00, to the 15.00 and to the 17.00 hours, which will be accompanied by an audiovisual that presents the charms of the island from a gastronomic perspective.

The event will be closed by chefs Pedro Santana and Marcos Pérez who, en un showcooking, will be responsible for executing some Lightly salted cherne tenderloins with jable sweet potato mosaic and their traditional mojos, dish that will allow exposing and disserting about the island's cultivation systems and, thus, show your agricultural landscapes.

The president of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Pedro San Ginés, and the Tourism Minister of the First Island Institution, Echedey Eugenio, agree when pointing out “the magnificent opportunity of being present at an event of the magnitude of the Milan Expo, that will allow us to show the world the natural and gastronomic charms of the island, and very especially, in a tourist market, the italian, in which we have great perspectives based on the destination positioning strategy that we are developing”.
