The craftsmanship, the Agriculture, the livestock, Folklore and gastronomy combine to offer tourism promotion of the Southeast Region and provide a great opportunity to the local economy.

The Commonwealth of the Southeast and the municipalities of Agüimes, Ingenio and Santa Lucía organize this initiative for another year, aware of its great success since the first edition in 2004

This project promotes, not only economic dynamism, but the customs and traditions of the Southeast, making the culture of its inhabitants a reason to enjoy and a resource that allows the creation of employment for small agricultural producers, livestock and artisanal.

This initiative to support the local economy, based on the use of resources that are part of its natural and cultural heritage, It is possible thanks to the enthusiasm and participation of producers and citizens in general., as well as for the collaboration of the Employment Department, Industry, Commerce and Crafts of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria.

The Canarian black pig, the production of olive oil, cheeses and mojos that are exported outside our islands, openwork fashion, award-winning wines or apitherapy, They are part of the sample that will be offered in more than 170 stands that dress, in each edition, the avenues and streets where it takes place, alternatively, between the three municipalities of the Southeast Region.

The organizers estimate that each year more than 100.000 people and, as it is celebrated on dates close to the Christmas holidays, allows visitors and participants the opportunity to purchase traditional gifts.
