Last weekend a new edition of the Select Livestock Exhibition was held at the Arucas Agricultural Farm, which added a new record of visitors and participants, counting a total of 1.500 animals present in the Sample.

The representatives of the Cabildo highlighted the efforts of the ranchers to keep this activity alive, both from the economic point of view and from the care of traditions.

The annual recognitions for the livestock sector also fell to Pedro Montesdeoca Lozano, country beef, Gregorio Diaz Martin, dairy cattle, Conrado Marrero Pérez, canary sheep, the black pig breeders association Granja del Tío Isidro, the Canario Podenco Club, the Gran Can Verdino Bardino Majorero dog association and the Presa Canario Dog Club of Las Palmas.

On the other hand, Juan Armas Rodríguez was also distinguished, from Agala wineries, and Inocencio Lugo García, from Los Berrazales, that received recognition for their success at the recent Agrocanarias Fair in the white wine section.
