THE MEETING WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE DAYS 23 And 24 MARCH IN VALENCIA.
The PHYTOMA MEETING aims to become an international court of discussions at a technical-scientific level these days., to discuss and exchange ideas on how to approach the control of Tuta Absoluta, in those countries that are being affected by the plague.
Qualified scientists like Ferrán García-Marí, Mediterranean Agroforestry Institute of the Polytechnic University of Valencia); Alberto Urbaneja, Valencian Institute of Agrarian Research; Shakir Al-Zaidi, Russell IPM Ltd; Tomas Cabello, Agri-Food Biotechnology Research Center, University of Almeria; Rosa Gabarra, IRTA, Horses, Barcelona.
These will be some of the 27 speakers who will participate in the 1st PHYTOMA-Spain International Meeting on “Tuta absoluta. The Tomato Moth, a serious growing problem”.
The meeting will take place on the days 23 and 24 March at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The topics will deal with the description and expansion of the Tuta; strategies for its control, the application of sexual confusion techniques, biological control or the application of parasitoids in its control.
