The great agricultural fair, livestock and fishing industry in the Canary Islands opens its doors today to offer visitors a renewed concept, in which there will be no shortage of an amalgamation of products from the primary sector, derived from goat milk, Majorera olive oil, cooking shows and the Agrarian Market of La Biosfera.
Feaga will offer the visiting public an interesting route full of activities and exhibition spaces, more than 7.000 square meters of covered areas between the institutional tent, a cattle tent on display, the livestock hall where the competitions are held, the industrial and machinery tent and the commercial tent.
The fairground, as a whole, will be with 4 carpas que suman más de 7.000 m2 de superficie (las mayores son las de Ganado con 2.700 M2, Maquinaria con 2.250 m2 y Comercio con 1.950 M2), una treintena de stands en la nave central y otros 50 para el área comercial; 1.500 aparcamientos, una asistencia estimada de 40.000 visitors, 15.000 euros en premios en los concursos de ganado, más otros 10.000 en el concurso de quesos Tabefe; salón de actos, escenario.
Todo el espacio disponible se encontrará copado por unas 160 empresas y entidades, como la práctica totalidad de los cabildos canarios y ayuntamientos majoreros y todo tipo de empresas, entre las que destacan como colaboradoras principales Binter y Canarias Caja Rural.
En la nave central, donde se ubican las instituciones, el stand del Cabildo majorero incorpora novedades importantes en su distribución, dedicating independent spaces with specific settings for the three agricultural sectors, livestock and fishing.

Majorero products will be the protagonists of the 'showcooking' that, permanently, will be carried out by students of the hospitality and catering module of the IES Puerto del Rosario in the main nave of the fairgrounds.
