Francisco Sosa, better known as Paco Sosa, baker and pastry chef by profession and creator of the company DULCEALDEA, was the pioneer in creating the food industry of La Aldea that achieved, among the famous tomatoes of the municipality, make a prominent niche in the Canarian market for its cakes and pastries.

Francisco Sosa Rodríguez started as his own bakery in 1958. It was in 1966 when he created a cooperative partnering with José Matías and Vicente Hernández. However, A few years later, he decided to continue on his own by creating the Dulcealdea food company.
His profession as a baker, who worked in one of the most popular bakeries in the municipality, was the passport to create the company in which he combined the manufacture of bread with a selection of sweets, cakes, cakes and biscuits.
