THE EVENT THAT IS CELEBRATED EVERY FOUR YEARS, IT WILL START NEXT MONDAY 24 AND IT WILL LONG UNTIL THE DAY 27 SEPTEMBER.

Eighteen scientific sessions, four round tables, A seminar and two workshops make up the program of this International Conference in which the goat is the main protagonist.
The events will be supervised by the International Goat Association and organized by the Canarian universities, the National Institute of Agricultural and Food Research and Technology, the Canary Islands Institute of Agrarian Research, the Ministry of agriculture, Food and environment, the Canarian Institute of Agri-Food Quality and the Cabildo of Gran Canaria.

The global meeting held every 4 years, brings together scientists, professionals, ranchers and various people interested in industrial activities, scientific and rural in the goat sector and its sustainable development. More than three hundred experts will meet at 18 conferences, 4 round tables, seminars and numerous activities that attract the most prominent experts on the planet.

During the event, delegates will be able to participate in scientific debates, informative events and local initiatives, as well as examine the various ways of addressing the main challenges that goat farming encompasses at a technical level., economic and social.

In addition, a work session on sensory analysis of cheeses will take place. For the latter, Canarian cheeses will be used., which currently enjoy great international prestige.
