SARDINA DEL SUR CINEMA BEGINS TODAY AT THE CULTURAL CENTER, GRAN CANARIA.
The XXIV Agricultural Week of Southern Sardines, organized from this Tuesday until Friday by the farmers' commission in collaboration with the Santa Lucía City Council, will address the diseases that affect tomatoes in different presentations, in addition to analyzing the future of the sector, that doesn't happen, precisely, for its best moment.
The sessions of these days begin with the presentation “Reflections on the last campaign: experimental results”, by the head of the Horticulture section of the Experimental Farm of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, José María Tabares.
The program for this edition continues on Wednesday with the conference “Photovoltaic ordinance of the municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana”, that the municipal technician Pedro Quintana will offer. The presentations on post-harvest diseases in export tomatoes and the control plan for flying insects of viruses in horticultural crops, complete the second day of the XXIV Agricultural Week.
