El senador de Coalición Canaria, Narvay Quintero, ha confirmado en la sesión de control al Gobierno en el Senado que será el nuevo consejero de Agricultura, Ganadería y Pesca de Canarias.
Quintero ha hecho este anuncio en una interpelación a la ministra Isabel García Tejerina sobre el sector primario canario, cuya relevancia ambos han coincidido en destacar desde el punto de vista económico, social y territorial.
El parlamentario canario ha explicado que esta era su última intervención en el Senado, donde presentará su baja tras dos legislaturas en la cámara.
La ministra le ha deseado “todos los éxitos” en su nueva etapa como consejero, en la que ambos coincidirán en otros ámbitos para seguir “profundizando” en los asuntos de sus competencias.
