Tejeda opens the doors of the field.

FROM THURSDAY TO SUNDAY, THE RURAL WORLD WITHIN THE REACH OF EVERYONE.

“Entretejeda” is the name of the initiative launched by the Tejeda City Council, the Rural Bank, They are sacred, Tecno-E, and that has the collaboration of the Government of the Canary Islands and the Cabildo of Gran Canaria.

From the 27 November and until Sunday 30, Those who come to Tejeda will be able to participate in a significant number of activities that have been designed for the occasion.: workshops, exhibitions, catas, conferences, flea market, guided tours and competitions.

Much of the activities program is directed, mainly, to schoolchildren with the aim of showing the reality of the rural world, its inhabitants, ways of life, resources and possibilities.

Entretejeda will promote agricultural products and the possibilities they have in gastronomy, as quality and differentiated products: old potatoes, remembrance, wines, honeys and vegetables will be part of the tastings and workshops.

Every day it will be presented through conferences, aspects related to tourism, technological innovations, cheese and quality. Felo Botello will be your speakers, Sergio Alvarez, Yurena Hernandez, Carlos Fernández and Agustín Santana.

The commented tastings will take place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and the market will be operational from 10:00 until 18:30 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
