The first course to be taught in Agüimes will be on “OLIVE PESTS”.
Agüimes launches the Agriculture Training Program 2016 through the Agrarian Extension Service of the Cabildo of Gran Canaria, regarding Agriculture and Livestock. In this edition, the Villa de Agüimes City Council collaborates in carrying out four of the courses aimed at the agricultural sector.
The first to be taught will be the “OLIVE TREE PESTS”, of great importance to guarantee the integrated management of phytosanitary problems that affect the olive tree. will take place the next day 1 April, in the Plenary Hall of the Illustrious City Council of Villa de Agüimes. The registration period is now open and will end on 27 of March.
The second will be “BASIC LEVEL PHYTOSANITARY PRODUCT HANDLER COURSE”. The main objective of this course is to respond to professionals in the agricultural sector who participate directly in the application or manipulation of phytosanitary products.. will take place the next few days 3, 4, 5, 6 and 9 May at the Agüimes Training Center, Located on Luis Artiles Castro Street, 24. The registration period will open during the month of April.
On the other hand, during In the month of June there will be a talk called “HOW TO TAKE THE OLIVES TO THE OIL MILL?”. And in the month of October will take place in the Community Gardens the course “INTRODUCTION TO ORGANIC FARMING”. The registration period for both courses will also open one month before the scheduled date of completion of the course..
