Jacinto González Godoy COAG receives recognition for his dedication to Canary Canary tomato.
If villager recently plenary session agreed to grant the title of Son the director general of COAGRISAN, Jacinto Godoy Gonzalez, now is the Coordinator of Agricultural and Livestock Organizations Canary Islands which adds to the accolades it is receiving Godoy.
The president of COAG Canary, Rafael Hernández, He stated that this recognition is something I had this organization who has been and is a key player in the Canary tomato sector export.
Hernandez said the decision was taken in the organization several months ago, referring to the title of Son villager granted by the City Council, which coincides in time with the recognition of COAG Canary.
The recognition ceremony will take place next day 22 November at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Canarian Government in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and it will be sponsored by President Fernando Clavijo.
Rafael Hernandez added that this recognition highlights Jacinto González Godoy as
alma mater of the tomato sector La Aldea, whose determination and dedication to the cause "Tomato" has no limits.
At the same event, COAG Canary also recognizes the businessman and farmer Felix Santiago Melian and the SAT Fruten de Tenerife.
Jacinto González Godoy receive the title of Favorite Son of La Aldea de San Nicolás next Saturday 26 November, in a ceremony to be held at the Cultural Center at 20:00 hours.
