Councilor for Agriculture congratulates the results of the Regional Fair.

Councilor for Agriculture of the City of La Aldea, Rosa Godoy, has addressed the president of the Commonwealth of Medianías of Gran Canaria, Jose Miguel Lopez, to congratulate you on the excellent development and result of the Regional Wine Fair, Canary cheese and honey.

Godoy highlighted the considerable effort made by the team of this Commonwealth to show a heritage that, little by little, It is having a transcendental meaning in society.

Allowing and facilitating direct contact between producers and consumers is enabling a more fluid relationship from which both parties are benefiting.. On the one hand, the consumer purchases the product directly. And, on the other hand, producers receive admiration and applause from consumers, said the councilor.

Godoy reported that at this Fair, among the nearly eighty exhibitors, The La Colina Artisanal Cheese Factory was present, from the Tasarte neighborhood, with a sample of cured and semi-cured cheeses with paprika and gofio.

The councilor pointed out that the owner of the cheese factory expressed her satisfaction with the excellent reception and sale of her cheeses and, in particular, for the request for the cheese awarded the gold medal in last year's world cheese competition.

These types of initiatives are promoting our productions in a framework that increasingly manages to differentiate itself from the previous ones and avoids repetition.. In this sense, Godoy declared that the bet of the Commonwealth of Medianías has been very successful.

The councilor recognized the enormous effort made and once again highlighted the work carried out by the entire team that makes up the Commonwealth of Medianías, as well as Aider Gran Canaria.
