The event that takes place in parallel is the orange tasting in which, like last year, A group of technicians will collect the fruits from several farms in Telde and then an expert jury will choose the best.
It is expected that twenty producers from the municipality, between individual farmers and collectives such as the Telde Farmers Association or the Valley of the Nine Farmers Association, They will participate and sell their oranges in the incomparable setting of the plaza of the historic complex of San Juan.
Among the producers who have confirmed their attendance are SAT Hoya Niebla, José Guerra Rodríguez, V9 Young Farmers Association, “El Espigón” Estate, “Higuera Canaria” Estate, “La Barraca” Estate, “Jomera” Estate, Jose Medina Ramirez, Luis Lopez Parre, Los Cortijos Agricultural Operations S.L. and Floro Rivero González. The company Trabel also participates, Antonio Benitez, the Fire Mill, the company Beaches of Saturn S.L., the florist Flores de Eva and the children's entertainment company We Make Your Dreams.

Citrus cultivation in the municipality of Telde occupies an area of 100 hectares, of which 80 hectares are dedicated to orange production, tangerines and grapefruits.
