Pinolere hosts this weekend the V fair of the Canarian cheese.

This edition is dedicated to the denomination of protected origin of the flower cheese's Guide, Medium flower and cheese Guide (Gran Canaria).

The V fair of the Canarian cheese, will be held this weekend, 11 and 12 April, in the Park ethnographic Pinolere, in La Orotava.

The opening of the exhibition will take place at the one with the presence of local authorities, Island, regional and honor to the denomination of protected origin of cheese of flower, with the presence of representatives of the city of Santa Maria de Guide, Gran Canaria.

About two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday the jury will read the minutes of the III contest Insular of cheeses of Tenerife Pinolere Awards 2015 and then there will be a guided tasting of award-winning dairy products and participants in charge of Ruth Lozano Rodriguez, technical specialist cheeses of the Canary Institute of quality agricultural research of the Canary Islands Government and the members of the Association of producers cheese artisans of Tenerife.

The show will also host sections for the recovery of the Canarian chicken, Dog breed and milking goats.

Also scheduled the celebration of a homage of the cultural Association of friends of the goats in the sea bath, the Puerto de la Cruz, the herdsmen of greater age of the Valle de La Orotava and a recognition to the members of the collective cultural Valley of Taoro, drive the recovery of the bathroom of the goats on the day of San Juan.
